Sgt. Chuck Groover serves the Covington Police Department as the accreditation manager and training officer.  He has been with Covington since 2002. He began his law enforcement career in 1973 with the Macon Police Department and retired from them in 2001 after 28 years of service.  He was one of the original board members of GPAC when the organization was started in 1989 and served as the first Secretary/Treasurer.
